Lighthouse Point City is a one of the Broward County, Florida, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 10767 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 11118, making it the 255th most populous in Florida. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.22 kmē), of which, 2.29 square miles (5.93 kmē) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 kmē) of it is water, making it the 557th largest by size in Florida.
