Liberty Town is a town located in the Union County, Indiana, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2061. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1914, making it the 211th most populous in Indiana. The town extends throughout a territory of 0.87 sq mi (2.25 sq km ), making it Indiana's 317th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2061 people, 858 households, and 548 families living in the town.
