Liberty City is a city located in Casey County, Kentucky, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1850. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1893, It is Kentucky's 173rd largest by population . It is spread over 1.75 miē (4.53 kmē), making it Kentucky's 199th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1850 people, 875 households, and 494 families living in the city.
