Lewiston City, Androscoggin County, Maine is a city located in the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Lewiston City is home to 35690 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 35131, It is the second largest by population in the U.S. state of Maine. The city encompasses an area of 35.19 mi˛ (91.14 square kilometre ), of which, 34.09 square miles (88.29 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.1 square miles (2.85 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 12th largest by total area in Maine.
