Lewis City is a city in the Edwards County, Kansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 486. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 444, making it the 303rd most populous in Kansas. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.32 sq mi (0.83 sq km ), it is the 413th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 486 people, 183 households, and 134 families living in the city.
