Level Plains Town is a town located in Dale County, Alabama, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the town was 1544 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1511, It is the 228th most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. The town spans an area of 2.93 mi˛ (7.59 square kilometre), making it the 158th smallest by size in Alabama.
