Leonia Borough, New Jersey is a borough of the Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Leonia Borough is home to 8914 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 8597, It is New Jersey's 184th largest by population . It covers total area of 1.62 sq mi (4.2 sq km), of which, 1.51 square miles (3.91 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, it is the 334th largest in terms of geographical size.
