It is spread over 34.44 mi˛ (89.2 square kilometre), of which, 34.28 square miles (88.78 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the seventh largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas. It is ranks 16 in the size of its inland waterways in Kansas.
