Leesburg Town is one of the town of Cherokee County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 799. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 821, giving it the 307th largest population among Alabama. It has total area of 6.44 mi˛ (16.68 sq km), of which, 6.42 square miles (16.63 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it Alabama's 204th largest by total area.
