Leesburg City is a city located in Lee County, Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. Leesburg City had an official population of 2633 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2920, making it Georgia's 212th largest. It covers total area of 4.78 square miles (12.38 kmē), of which, 4.73 square miles (12.25 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, it is the 172nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
