Lebanon Borough is a borough located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 1065 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1955, It is New Jersey's 34th smallest by population . It covers total area of 0.87 sq mi (2.25 square kilometre), making it the 58th smallest by size in New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1065 people in the borough, organized into 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 1227.3 people per square mile (473.86/kmē), it is 99th least densely populated borough in New Jersey. There were 477 housing units at an average density of 548.3 per square mile (211.7/kmē). The average household size was 2.33 people, and the average family size was 2.97 people. In the borough the population was spread out, with 24.1% under the age of 18, 3.7% from 18 to 24, 35.1% from 25 to 44, 25.4% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 92.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.4 males. The median age is 39.3 years, the median age of male residents at 36.4 and the median age of female residents at 41. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 1016 White, 7 Black or African American, 2 American Indian, 33 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 3 from two or more races and 4 Ohter races.
