Lawton City is a city located in Ramsey County, North Dakota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. Lawton City had an official population of 42 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 38, It is the 43rd smallest by population in the U.S. state of North Dakota. It is spread over 1.01 sq mi (2.62 sq km), of which, 0.93 square miles (2.41 sq km ) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 sq km) of it is water, it is the 105th largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in North Dakota.
