Lawtey City is a United States city located in the Bradford County, Florida, United States. The city has a population of 656 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 700, giving it the 101st smallest population among Florida. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.38 miē (3.57 kmē), it is the 205th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
