Lawrence County is a county located in Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Lawrence County is home to 94643 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 90272 in July 2008, making it the 33rd most populous county in Pennsylvania. It has total area of 362.76 mi˛ (939.54 square kilometre), of which, 360.46 square miles (933.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.3 square miles (5.96 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the eighth smallest by total area among Pennsylvania's county.

For every 100 females there were 90.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.9 males. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 90272, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 94.42% White, 3.99% Black or African American, 0.13% American Indian, 0.39% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 1.07% from two or more races.
