Lawndale City is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 31711 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 31346, making it the 225th most populous in California. It is spread over 1.98 mi˛ (5.13 sq km), it is the 276th smallest by area in the U.S. state of California.
