The census designated place encompasses an area of 3.9 sq mi (10.1 kmē ), of which, 3.8 square miles (9.84 kmē) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 kmē) of it is water, it is the 59th largest by area in the U.S. state of Hawaii.
