Lavallette Borough is a borough in the Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 2665 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2754, It is 134th least populous in New Jersey. The borough has a total area of 0.93 sq mi (2.41 sq km), of which, 0.8 square miles (2.07 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 73rd smallest by total area among New Jersey.
