Lavaca City is a one of the Sebastian County, Arkansas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1825 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2189, It is 144th most populous in Arkansas. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.15 sq mi (5.57 kmē ), it is the 235th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
