According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1188 inhabitants. It is the 302nd smallest in terms of population. It covers total area of 3.43 mi˛ (8.88 square kilometre), of which, 3.35 square miles (8.68 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 327th largest by size in New York.
