Lassen County is a county located in the United States of California. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Lassen County is home to 33828 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 34574 in July 2008, It is California's 12th least populous county. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 4720.37 square miles (12225.7 square kilometre), of which, 4557.27 square miles (11803.28 square kilometre) of it is land and 163.1 square miles (422.43 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the ninth largest by total area in California.
