Laramie County is a county located in the United States of Wyoming. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Laramie County is home to 81607 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 87542, It is the largest county by population in the U.S. state of Wyoming. Its area is just over 2687.63 square miles (6960.93 kmē), of which, 2686.05 square miles (6956.84 kmē) of it is land and 1.58 square miles (4.09 kmē) of it is water, making it the 15th largest by size in Wyoming.

As of the census of 2000, there were 81607 people, 31927 households, and 21600 families residing in the county. The population density was 30.4 people per square mile (11.74/kmē), making its Wyoming's most densely populated county. There were 34213 housing units at an average density of 12.7 per square mile (4.9/kmē). The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 2.98. In the Laramie County, 25.8% of the population was under the age of 18, 9.6% were 18 to 24, 30.5% were 25 to 44, 22.7% were 45 to 64, and 11.5% who were 65 or older.
