Lapel Town, Madison County, Indiana is a town located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1855. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1845, It is Indiana's 221st largest by population . Its area is just over 0.77 sq mi (1.99 kmē), giving it the 334th largest by total area among Indiana.
