Lansing City, Michigan is a city of the Ingham and Eaton counties, Michigan, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 119128 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 113968, It is the sixth most populous in the U.S. state of Michigan. The city has a total area of 35.24 sq mi (91.27 kmē), of which, 35.05 square miles (90.78 kmē) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 kmē) of it is water, it is the tenth largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
