Lancaster City is a one of the Los Angeles County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 118718 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 145469, It is the 42nd largest by population in the U.S. state of California. It covers total area of 94.18 square miles (243.93 kmē), of which, 94 square miles (243.46 kmē) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 kmē) of it is water, it is the 14th largest by area in the U.S. state of California.
