Lamoure County, North Dakota is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 4701 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 3986, It is the 29th largest county by population in the U.S. state of North Dakota. It covers total area of 1150.81 sq mi (2980.58 square kilometre), of which, 1147.18 square miles (2971.18 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.63 square miles (9.4 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 29th largest by total area in North Dakota.
