Lamoille County is a county located in the United States of Vermont. The population of the county was 23233 as per the 2000 census data. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 24833, It is the third least populous county in the U.S. state of Vermont. The county comprises an area of 463.75 sq mi (1201.11 square kilometre), of which, 460.97 square miles (1193.91 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.78 square miles (7.2 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the second smallest by total area in Vermont.

In the county the population was distributed as follows: 24.3% under the age of 18, 10% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 24.5% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 24833, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.04% White, 0.56% Black or African American, 0.42% American Indian, 0.6% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, and 1.34% from two or more races.
