Lambertville City is a city located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 3868 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 3741, making it the 329th most populous in New Jersey. The city has a total area of 1.25 mi˛ (3.24 sq km), of which, 1.13 square miles (2.93 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, it is the 116th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
