Lakewood Village is a city in the McHenry County, Illinois, United States. It is home to over 2337 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 3690, It is the 467th largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 3.38 mi˛ (8.75 square kilometre), of which, 3.09 square miles (8 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.29 square miles (0.75 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 316th largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois.
