Lakewood Village City is a city located in Denton County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 342. The July 2008 population estimate is 393, It is Texas's 229th smallest by population . Its area is just over 0.74 mi˛ (1.92 sq km), of which, 0.73 square miles (1.89 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 202nd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
