Lakewood City is a United States city located in the Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. Lakewood City had an official population of 56646 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 50704, It is the 14th most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city extends throughout a territory of 6.7 miē (17.35 kmē ), of which, 5.55 square miles (14.37 kmē) of it is land and 1.15 square miles (2.98 kmē) of it is water, it is the 153rd largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks 12 in the size of its inland waterways in Ohio.
