In 2000, census designated place's population was 4820 inhabitants. It is Georgia's 137th largest by population . It covers total area of 2.29 sq mi (5.93 square kilometre), of which, 2.28 square miles (5.91 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 341st largest by size in Georgia.
