Lake View City is a United States city located in the Sac County, Iowa, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1278 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 1196, It is the 230th most populous in the U.S. state of Iowa. The city spans an area of 2.11 mi˛ (5.46 sq km), of which, 1.84 square miles (4.77 sq km) of it is land and 0.28 square miles (0.73 sq km) of it is water, making it the 178th largest by size in Iowa.
