Lake Oswego City is a city in the Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties, Oregon, United States. The city has a population of 35278 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 36926, It is the 14th largest by population in the U.S. state of Oregon. The city has a total area of 10.95 square miles (28.36 square kilometre), of which, 10.35 square miles (26.81 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.61 square miles (1.58 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 19th largest by total area in Oregon. It is ranks 16 in the size of its inland waterways in Oregon.

As of the census of 2000, there were 35278 people in the city, organized into 16 households, and 12 families residing in the city.
