Lake Orion Village is a United States city located in the Oakland County, Michigan, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2715. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2713, It is 264th most populous in Michigan. It has total area of 1.28 mi˛ (3.32 sq km), of which, 0.76 square miles (1.97 sq km) of it is land and 0.52 square miles (1.35 sq km) of it is water, it is the 412th largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2715 people, 1198 households, and 634 families living in the city. The median age of the city's population was 38.1 years, the median age of male residents at 36.4 and the median age of female residents at 39.9. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 97.79% White, 0.26% Black or African American, 0.33% American Indian, 0.29% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, 1.18% from two or more races and 0.11% Other races.
