It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 15143, It is 241st most populous in Florida. It covers total area of 9.67 miē (25.05 kmē), of which, 8.61 square miles (22.3 kmē) of it is land and 1.06 square miles (2.75 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 190th largest by total area in Florida.
