As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 3326, making it the 509th most populous in Florida. The town comprises an area of 1.05 square miles (2.72 kmē), of which, 0.98 square miles (2.54 kmē) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 kmē) of it is water, it is the 156th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
