It is the 213th most populous in the U.S. state of New York. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the census designated place has a total area of 5.51 sq mi (14.27 kmē), of which, 5.16 square miles (13.36 kmē) of it is land and 0.35 square miles (0.91 kmē) of it is water, it is the 168th largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.
