Lake And Peninsula Borough, Alaska is a borough of the United States of Alaska. The borough has a population of 1823 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1488, It is the third least populous borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. Its area is just over 30906.96 sq mi (80048.66 kmē), of which, 23781.96 square miles (61594.99 kmē) of it is land and 7125 square miles (18453.67 kmē) of it is water, making it the sixth largest by size in Alaska. It is ranks fourth in the size of its inland waterways in Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1823 people, 588 households, and 418 families residing in the borough. The population density was 0.1 people per square mile (0.04/kmē), giving it the third least densely populated borough among the Alaska. There were 1557 housing units at an average density of 0.1 per square mile (0.04/kmē). The average household size was 3.1 and the average family size was 3.74. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 37.8% under the age of 18, 8.5% from 18 to 24, 28% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 5.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 113.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 124.1 males. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1488, The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 21.64% White, 0.07% Black or African American, 69.62% American Indian, 0.4% Asian, 0.47% Native Hawaiian, and 7.8% from two or more races.
