Labette County, Kansas is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the county was 22835 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 21871, It is the 26th largest county by population in the U.S. state of Kansas. The county extends throughout a territory of 653.3 square miles (1692.04 kmē ), of which, 648.82 square miles (1680.44 kmē) of it is land and 4.48 square miles (11.6 kmē) of it is water, making it the 31st smallest by size in Kansas.
