La Vista City is a city located in the Sarpy County, Nebraska, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 11699 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 16643, It is the 15th most populous in the U.S. state of Nebraska. The city has a total area of 2.84 miē (7.36 kmē), it is the 32nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
