La Grange City is one of the city of Fayette County, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 4478. Its population was estimated at 4709 in July 2008, making it the 376th most populous in Texas. It covers total area of 3.58 square miles (9.27 sq km), of which, 3.57 square miles (9.25 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 552nd largest by total area in Texas.
