La Crosse City, Rush County, Kansas is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1376 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1241, It is the 162nd most populous in the U.S. state of Kansas. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.02 miē (2.64 kmē ), giving it the 181st largest by total area among Kansas.
