La Crescent City is a city in the Houston and Winona counties, Minnesota, United States. The city has a population of 4923 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 4912, It is the 129th largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city comprises an area of 3.35 miē (8.68 kmē), of which, 3.01 square miles (7.8 kmē) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 kmē) of it is water, it is the 212th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4923 people, 1940 households, and 1368 families living in the city. The population density was 1634.4 people per square mile (631.05/kmē), making its Minnesota's 123rd most densely populated city.
