As per the 2000 census, census designated place has a population of 338 inhabitants. It is Alaska's 144th largest by population . It has total area of 20.22 sq mi (52.37 sq km), of which, 20.15 square miles (52.19 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 190th largest by total area among Alaska.
