Kootenai City, Idaho is a city of the Bonner County, Idaho, United States. It is home to over 441 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 498, It is the 133rd most populous in the U.S. state of Idaho. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.45 sq mi (1.17 square kilometre ), it is the 62nd smallest in terms of geographical size.
