Koontz Lake Cdp, Starke and Marshall counties, Indiana is a census designated place located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, census designated place has a population of 1554 inhabitants. It is the 256th largest by population in the U.S. state of Indiana. Its area is just over 3.89 mi˛ (10.08 square kilometre), of which, 3.39 square miles (8.78 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.29 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 118th largest in terms of geographical size.
