According to the 2000 census it had a population of 182 inhabitants. It is the 195th largest by population in the U.S. state of Alaska. The census designated place encompasses an area of 12.52 mi˛ (32.43 square kilometre ), of which, 12.46 square miles (32.27 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alaska's 222nd largest by total area.
