Kokomo City is a one of the Howard County, Indiana, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 46113 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 45694, It is Indiana's 14th largest by population . Its area is just over 16.25 sq mi (42.09 kmē), of which, 16.2 square miles (41.96 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 28th largest by total area in Indiana.
