Knob Noster City is a city located in Johnson County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2462. The July 2008 population estimate is 3282, It is the 216th largest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 1.74 square miles (4.51 kmē), of which, 1.73 square miles (4.48 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 283rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.
