It is Maine's tenth smallest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the census designated place has a total area of 2.58 sq mi (6.68 kmē), of which, 1.9 square miles (4.92 kmē) of it is land and 0.67 square miles (1.74 kmē) of it is water, it is the 21st smallest by area in the U.S. state of Maine.
